"Solve This Mystery If You Can..."

Can you solve this mystery of where this postcard came from or who the families could be?

Most postcards can be identified either by a caption or the posting on the reverse of the card. This card is a mystery. The only thing to go on is what is written on the back of the postcard.

The message is handwritten in pencil and is barely legible, but it appears to be:

The three families at Little Harbor Beach

Wareham, MA 1916

Perhaps someone recognizes the house with some sort of growth covering the top of the porch under the porch roof.

Could some of these people still be alive? If not they must have a lot of living relative given the number of young looking females in the picture.

There appears to be a machine to the left of the house which has at least two stories. Is this the back porch or the front porch? Is there a body of water behind the house?

Oh! I almost forgot, the card came from Fall River, MA., or was found there.

Here is the mystery postcard:

The three families at Little Harbor MA - 1916
